I have a prized CD that a friend gave me of a live concert we saw together. The disk was destroyed by the worst possible kind of scratch; long, deep and right along the data track. I applied your product for about 30 seconds and noticed an improvement. After carefully reading the instructions again I applied more pressure and worked at it for about two minutes. I was able to get a clean copy made of the disk. The next time my friend comes over I will be able to avoid the embarrassment of telling him I destroyed the only known copy of this memorable show. The price of your product has already been repaid many times over. I still have enough to see if I can recover some of my kids CDs and computer games that we had all but written off to the landfills.

Okay, I'll admit it -- I was desperate. I had a CD nearly filled with personal correspondence and it died. I couldn't write to it, I couldn't move documents into or out of it, it was dead. But I remembered reading somewhere, sometime that there was or soon would be a method to repair them. So I searched the internet and found your site. I read the blurb, watched the movie (the founder is a hottie, isn't he?), and decided to think about it.
Then I searched various office supply stores for the product, found it and ordered it through one of them. Yes, I'm chicken. If it didn't work, I wanted a company I was familiar with to which I could return it.

But to paraphrase a bumper sticker I've seen -- "They'll have to pry it from my cold dead fingers" before I'll give it up. The bottle's mine. It will stay mine. It will save all my CD's from plastic heaven. I can't WAIT to tell everyone I know about it. I hope that doesn't frighten you -- knowing that some of your glory will rub off on a complete stranger. I have six young children. Needless to say, CDs and young children do not match. As we pulled out our Christmas CDs this year, many of the best songs would not play. Upon turning them over... well, you know the rest. Two DAYS later, my order for WipeOut arrived. I started with the worst damaged CD, hoping at least to salvage something. Well, after a few minutes rubbing, I popped the CD into the player and listed to the whole thing! No skipping, just great Christmas music.
I have to admit that I was VERY skeptical that this product would work; especially after rubbing on the CD and seeing the very tiny scratches left over. However, I must admit that this product works (at least on audio CDs, haven't tried it on CD-ROMs yet) and works well.

Your product worked sensational! I had tried doing everything to save my CD-ROM disc containing valuable portfolio work and the cd repair kit saved me hours of going back and redoing everything. The disc had gotten stuck inside the computer's CD-ROM player. While retrieving it, the tray had scratched the playing side underneath the disc pretty bad. And not just in one area or one direction. I mean this disc was a complete mess and seemed unsaveable.

My mother had read your product in the technical section of the newspaper and had cut it out for me to read. I read it and thought for that price it is worth a shot. I must admit I was quite skeptical of the WipeOut product, but after saw PCGamer raving about I just had to try it. This has to be one of the most impressive CD accessories I've ever seen!! I'm a big instrumental guitar fan (being a lead guitarist myself) and WipeOut totally fixed my Steve Vai "Fire Garden" CD that would not even play before using Wipe Out on it!!! I have a rather large collection of CD's and some got damaged due to a faulty Sony 10 disc CD changer in my car (it was scratching the surface of the discs). I found your WipeOut stuff on the internet and although I was somewhat sceptical I brought a bottle.

I have applied it to quite a few discs that were virtually unplayable or had faults and it fixed everyone, excluding one stubborn disc that has severe scratches and plastic discoloration. I am in shock - it works too well - it's a miracle!!!!!!

I should apologize for my complains; WipeOut! correctly works with DVDs! Probably, the first time, I did not clean and dry enough the DVD after rubbing WipeOut!, so the product was not completely removed. I use normal water for cleaning with a soft cloth (your step 5).

I could even repair a full scratched disc which would not load at all. In that case of course, I had to repeat the whole procedure many times. Because WipeOut! makes very thin scratches (which don't disturb readings), it becomes more and more difficult to locate the bad scratches. Because we are blind, it might be necessary to rub the whole surface. I did that and it works, but this procedure could require more than six droplets. Am I right ?

I do alot of driving and love to listen to my CD's when I do. In my car I usually keep about a hundred or so CD's to listen to. One very hot day I put in a CD to listen to and nothing would play :( . I pulled out the CD to check to see if it was dirty and I noticed a white haze on it. To my dismay, when I checked all of the CD's in the car, they all had a white haze on them and would not play. I tried scrubbing them with everything from nail polish remover to brillo pads(not a good idea) and nothing worked. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper.

I thought I had just lost thousand of dollars, that is until I discovered Wipe Out. I used it to repair my hazed over CD's, with a high success rate. I saved all but about 6 CD's(out of over 100). This fifteen dollar investment saved me thousands.

I purchased a copy of Driver's Education '98 and loved it. However, my 36x CD-ROM drive didn't. It decided to cop an attitude with me one day, and as I ejected the disc, it decided it wouldn't spin down the disc before popping it out. Needless to say, all around the outer edge were white buff marks where the tray had rubbed against the disc.

I could not even play audio tracks 4, 5, and 6. As soon as I got Wipe Out!, I went to work on it. I read the thorough directions, and within five minutes, my hard-to-find-on-store-shelves disc was in top working order. Kudos to you!

Thank you guys so much for making this truly unique-yet-effective product! This Wipe Out! kit of yours is a goldmine! It's a miracle! Anyway, I first learned of this product from the very first issue of Maximum PC magazine, way back (Sept. 98 I think), and I thank heavens for it!

It sounded so convincing I decided to order one over the Internet right away, although I had my doubts since it was to be my first Internet purchase. But then again, I was hopeful, and it was a great value too, since it cleans over 40 CDs with a mere 3/4-ouncer for $15! This thing started to save me ever since I ordered it online by saving me time and money with convenience!

It came in the mail pretty fast, and I was eager to open the package. I had a whole mess of messed-up CDs to fix, and boy did it work fine! I saved my precious super-rare PlayStation game CDs: at first, it wouldn't load at all with the whole disc being hazed, but now, it works squeaky-clean, with no skips! Besides my minor gripe of the polishing compound leaving hazy marks behind after use, it's small compared to the immense amount of potential this little gem has!

I received my Wipe Out today and tried it on a disc I was sure was destroyed. It wouldn't play a single song all the way through, my 2 year old granddaughter had gotten a hold of it and used it for a shovel in her sandbox. After just one application of Wipe Out, the CD plays beautifully!!!

I used the "goop" yesterday on an old music CD that was skipping and looked like it was dragged through the streets!! LOL.......... NO MORE skipping!!!! The scratches did not completely disappear, but the skipping has. The entire disc was scratched.

I had my doubts. Spending $20 (incl shipping) to try it out wasn't all that much though. So I took a chance - and within a week it arrived. Now I've just repaired my C++ CD that had a scratch in the BIN directory. Several files that were unreadable, can now be copied. Actually - right now I'm also playing a music-CD that had a minor problem, but doesn't seem to have anymore. ;-)

I recently received my first order of Wipe Out!, and I have to say I was skeptical the first time I used it and there was a haze left on the disc.

I tried it on an irreplaceable CD I had that was badly scratched around the entire outer edge, making the last track (my favorite) completely unplayable. It would skip for a while then just stop playing. Well, I queued up the CD, skipped to track 13, and was rewarded with nearly perfect music! It still skipped at the end of the song, but the transformation was amazing! I was able to listen to almost the entire song, something I haven't been able to do in years. I'm sure with a second application this will be remedied.

I searched the Internet and investigated several CD repair products, because I had one CD that was trashed and I really wanted to fix it. It didn't just have one scratch on it - it looked like someone rubbed it on sandpaper. It played so bad, there were 5 songs in a row that would skip, make clicking sounds, get stuck, or just make my CD player freak out.

I chose Wipe Out mainly because I think there are potential problems with some products that add a layer or coating to the CD, and can eventually flake off in the player.

Because my CD was in such bad shape, it took several applications to get all the scratches that were causing skips. I would apply the Wipe Out, put the CD in the player, and listen, and each time there were less skips and clicks. After about 4 tries, I'm glad to say that my CD is now completely playable and skip free. I am AMAZED and delighted.

I'm going to buy a few more bottles and give them away for gifts and birthday presents. Maybe I'll even look into becoming a dealer and selling your product to the record stores in town, which seem to have no clue that CDs can be repaired at all.

I recently used Wipe Out! and it's awesome! I live in Chicago where there are a ton of record stores and have done some calling around and nobody is selling your product right now. In fact very few places are offering anything similar either. So I was just curious as to how you distribute it and if there was any way I could maybe help.

In fact I have already talked it up to a manager at Border's on the phone when I was calling around to see if anybody carried it. He said he was very interested because they don't offer anything right now and a lot of people come in complaining that their new music skips and he would like to be able to just fix it right there rather than taking the CD back. I am very harsh on my CDs. I have a car CD player and sometimes the discs even end up on the floor!!!

Many of my discs have become unplayable through terrible scratching. I have just finished using "Wipe Out!" on several of the worst cases.

With much anticipation I did receive my CD repair kit today, Jan 23, 1999. After careful reading of the instructions, I decided to give your product the acid test. I decided to try to repair one of my most favorite, and most damaged CDs, Frank Zappa's 'Sheik Yerbouti'.

I must tell you that this disc was so scratched that when I tried to play it, it sounded like someone was jumping up and down on the player. After the treatment, boy was I surprised. The thing played just like it was brand spanking new again.

I received my bottle of Wipe Out! and immediately set to work on a scratched and heretofore unplayable CD. A minute of hard rubbing and polishing, and the CD is now playable! In fact, I'm hard pressed to find the scratch I filled. And I'm very impressed. Thanks for a superb product.

I first heard about Wipe Out! when a local computer talk show host gave it a rave review on air and in the local paper in his column. At the time I neglected to file away the info since I am pretty careful with my cd's, and never thought I would be "singing the blues" when my favorite blues cd got scratched.

Your CD repair polishing compound has saved me over $800. I had a scratched (or should I say gashed ) CD-ROM database development program that cost me many hundreds of dollars. What I had was a $850 dollar drink coaster. The other repair products I tried only worked on mildly scratched audio CDs. (An audio CD player will forgive a few lost bits of data.) Your polishing compound has repaired the CD and I have my investment back.

Well, I got really skeptical at first 'cause the substance didn't look like anything that would get rid of scratches, and that's the truth. When I applied it to one of my CDs, I looked at it after I was finished, and it looked more scratched than before (tiny scratches still on the disc from the abrasive is normal), but I'm listening to the CD now, especially the last two tracks that were all jumpy, and they sound perfect. I'm also looking at the other CD that I had trouble with before, too, right now, and now that I've already applied Wipe Out! to it and it has all dried out and stuff, it looks really really clear compared to the time before, pretty cool. =)

I just got my Wipe Out! CD Repair Kit yesterday. I tried it on my husband's favorite Aha CD which was thoroughly trashed (skipped a LOT on every song) and now it's working as good as new. We're both pretty amazed and very happy we didn't have to go buy another CD. It did take some elbow grease to get out the scratches (which were pretty deep apparently) but it was easy to do. Now, I'm ready to tackle more!

I had a badly scratched MS Office 95 CD which, after trying various polishes, I thought was lost. Most of the files on the CD would not load and I could not update my new HD with programs that I relied upon for my job. Wipe Out! cured the problem completely after just one complete application.

No need to worry now, your repair kit brought my CD back-to-life! I played it all the way through for the first time in over two years without having it skip one time!

I was a little concerned as I used the scratch remover because it dulls the glossy finish of the CD a little. But after I played it, I realized that the laser has no problem reading through a dulled CD, just a badly gouged one.

I am interested in your CD-Repair product. I have ordered a few for me and my friends and used it mainly on laserdiscs. The result was amazing. I have been in the High-End HiFi and Home Theater business for the last 9 years and in the Computer Multimedia Development for the last 12 years. Having seen projects and collectible laser and compact discs destroyed by scratches, I believed that it was a matter of time before a product such as yours would surface and relieve developers as well as customers from the constant fear of such destruction!

I received your kit and I tried it. The CD I used it on was in horrible condition. Originally I could only listen to 4 out of the 10 songs, after 3 attempts with the repair kit, I can listen to 8 out of the 10 songs. The CD was in such bad condition, I'm surprised it worked at all. I think 1 more attempt will get the last songs to work.

I recently purchased CD Repair. I strongly encourage anyone who has a CD with a scratch to purchase this. I had a CD from a local band that was scratched. I tried to get a new one, but unfortunately they had sold out and weren't going to press anymore. CD Repair took the scratch out and it works as good as new.

I also had a scratch on one of the original Michael Jackson History discs, before the recall for lyrics, and thought I had lost it forever (I know some would say, "no loss", but I fixed it as well.)
